Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using steinegg.ca (the “Site”), operated by Steinegg Cabinets(“Steinegg,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site or our online tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence and are able to enter into a binding agreement. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page; your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept them.

Our design tools and estimates are illustrative, not a contract

Our “Reimagine” tool uses artificial intelligence to generate a stylized preview of your space with different cabinet styles and colours. These images are illustrations only. They are AI-generated, may not accurately depict your actual room, dimensions, materials, colours, or what is achievable in your space, and are not a design deliverable or a promise of any particular result.

Any price ranges or “Good / Better / Best” estimates we provide through the Site are preliminary, non-binding estimates generated from limited information. They are not a quote or an offer. Actual pricing depends on an in-person measure, material selections, site conditions, and other factors, and is confirmed only in a written quote we provide to you. Colours shown on a screen also vary from real materials.

You are responsible for any photo or content you upload, and you confirm you have the right to submit it and that it does not contain another person’s personal information without their consent. Our handling of the information you provide is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Use of the Site

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree that you will not:

a. use robots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or extract data from the Site;

b. interfere with or circumvent the security or operation of the Site;

c. copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any part of the Site or its content without our written permission;

d. upload viruses or other harmful code;

e. reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the Site or its underlying tools;

f. place an unreasonable load on our (or our providers’) infrastructure, or spam or flood the Site; or

g. use the Site or its content for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, layout, and the overall look and feel — are owned by Steinegg or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, AND OUR ONLINE TOOLS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information, preview, or estimate obtained through it will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Steinegg and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or reliance on any preview or estimate, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

The Site may link to websites operated by others. These links are provided for convenience only; we do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those sites, and you access them at your own risk.

Compliance with laws

You agree to comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations in connection with your use of the Site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of British Columbia will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site.
