About Our Founder, Mario
Our founder’s journey in woodworking began over two decades ago in a small town called Steinegg in Switzerland. He first learned the art of making traditional custom furniture. He then switched to learning how to manufacture and install kitchens and other cabinets. Aside from the four year apprenticeship he also took a two year program to learn project management and design in Switzerland. Mario leads Steinegg Cabinets with a commitment to excellence and a love for the craft. When not immersed in woodworking, he enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Nelson, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his family.
